If the Notobug 30F is easily cast with a spinning rod, the 22 F version can be easily used with a fly rod, for both sizes, in general, a UL power rod is recommended to make long casts with precision.
Animated by small strokes of the tip, you can make the silicone filament legs of the Notobug vibrate to give it the appearance of an insect that has fallen into the water and is dying while struggling. Another very good animation technique is possible by recovering the Notobug in stop & go, which makes it dive and undulate under the film of water. During breaks he rises to the surface as if to come breathe…this is where he often gets swallowed!
Finally, the ultimate technique for fooling the most suspicious fish: leave it inert on the surface near plant arches or seagrass beds and do nothing at all!
