Naturally shaped, the Slit Shad EVO has a body of quasi-triangular section whose flat back is split in length to camouflage the tip of the hook during Texas mounts or to properly center a leaded head. A ventral groove, ideally proportioned, is also provided to facilitate the sliding of offset hooks during shoeing, without affecting the holding of the hook during the animation, including during forced passages through obstacles or skipping.
The caudal peduncle has been cleverly designed to offer great mobility and optimal vibrational intensity. Before refining, it has at its base two areas of articulation that will amplify its beats and retransmit them to the entire lure. The "rolling" effect achieved with each pull is really seductive.
The caudal termination of the Slit Shad Evo is thin and flat with an ovoid shape that gives it immediate action, even at very low speed. By increasing the rate of recovery, the pulsations of the tail will amplify and propagate powerful low-frequency waves, detectable at great distances.
